These Terms and Conditions govern bookings and participation in all tours, retreats, and events offered by Enliven Outdoor Adventures. By making a booking, you acknowledge and accept the terms below.

  1. Booking, Deposits & Payments

    1.1 A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Bookings are not confirmed until this deposit is received.

    1.2 The remaining 50% balance is due 14 days prior to the scheduled start date. Bookings made within 14 days require full payment upfront.

    1.3 Payment is accepted via our website or over the phone using a valid credit or debit card. Cash may be accepted on the day for casual tours only (not for retreats or overnight trips).

    1.4 After booking, you will receive a confirmation email and a link to complete a mandatory waiver form. Participation is not permitted without a completed waiver.

    1.5 All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). You are responsible for any international transaction or currency conversion fees.

    2. Cancellations, Refunds & Reschedules

    We are a small business with limited group sizes and high pre-event costs. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while protecting our ability to operate.

    2.1 Participant Cancellations

    • More than 14 days’ notice: You may cancel for a 50% refund (deposit non-refundable), or request a free reschedule or credit voucher.

    • Between 7 and 14 days’ notice: You are eligible for a 25% refund, or a credit voucher (subject to availability).

    • Less than 7 days’ notice or no-show: No refunds or credits will be provided.

    2.2 Retreats & Once-Off Events

    • Deposits are strictly non-refundable.

    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 14 days of the event unless we can fill your place. We will do our best, but cannot guarantee this.

    • Refunds exclude transaction fees.

    2.3 Enliven Cancellations

    In the unlikely event that we must cancel due to weather, safety concerns, staff illness, or minimum numbers not being met, you will be offered:

    • A full refund, or

    • A reschedule, or

    • A 12-month credit voucher

    2.4 Other Costs

    Enliven Outdoor Adventures is not responsible for indirect costs such as accommodation, travel, or third-party bookings. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

    3. Conditions of Entry

    To participate, you must:

    • Weigh under 110kg (applies to SUP tours only)

    • Be aged 14 or older, or have an adult present if under 14

    • Be physically fit and medically capable of participation

    • Be free from drugs or alcohol

    • Understand and follow all safety instructions

    • Wear appropriate clothing and any safety gear provided (such as life jackets)

    • Secure all loose items

    • Complete a signed waiver form prior to participation

    • Participants aged 14 to 17 may attend without an adult but must have the waiver signed by a parent or guardian

    4. Medical Conditions

    4.1 You must declare that you are medically, mentally, and physically fit to participate in your chosen activity.

    4.2 Any change to your health or fitness status before your tour must be disclosed in writing.

    4.3 We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe, acting reasonably, that it is unsafe for you to proceed.

    5. Gift Cards & Vouchers

    5.1 Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

    5.2 If you purchase a physical gift card, it will be posted within 3 business days.

    5.3 Unused balances remain on the card and may be used within the 3-year period.

    5.4 Gift cards are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person free of charge.

    6. Waiver & Risk Acknowledgement

    All participants must complete and sign a Waiver & Risk Acknowledgement Form before participating. This form outlines the potential risks of outdoor activities and affirms your understanding and acceptance of those risks.

    7. Fraudulent or Misused Tickets

    Tickets or vouchers must be:

    • Original

    • Valid (within the expiry period)

    • Presented at check-in

    Photo ID may be requested. Any fraudulent use may be referred to authorities.

    8. Governing Law

    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
